HyDesign is an advanced open-source tool developed at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) for the design, control and optimization of utility-scale Hybrid Power- and Energy Plants including wind, solar, storage and P2X technologies.
It is built on a high-fidelity model (HFM) using multidisciplinary design analysis and optimization (MDAO), enabling techno-economic assessment and coupled optimization across diverse hybrid configurations.

My pedagogical view is to develop the curiosity among the students about the subject I am teaching such that
the students should be able to have the conceptual understanding of the fundamental principles and ability to apply the concept in solving a real-world problem.
I strive to transfer the knowledge and my experiences to the students that I have gained during many years from interaction with industry, knowledge gathered
through multiple research projects, theories learnt from vast amount of literature, experience in abstracting and modelling complex problems into simpler models.
